Are you having doubts about how many days you should spare to visit the Amazon Rainforest? Or maybe you already know exactly how many days you’ll be able to spend in the jungle and want to know more about the tours you’ll take? Well, this blog is just perfect to suit your needs.

To optimize the Amazon experience, we offer several tours which can be organized on a private basis or in small groups. These tours are organized through packages that may change based on weather and other unforeseen conditions.

Before we carry on to the packages and activities available, there are somo important information for you to pay attention:

  • Children from 0 to 5 years old stay for free.
  • Children from 6 to 10 years old are extended a discount of 50% from the triple fare.
  • Rooms are equipped with fans and offer solar-heated water.
  • Guests are allowed to bring 10 kg (22 lbs) of luggage per person. Luggage exceeding this amount can be stored in Juma’s Manaus office for no additional charge.
  • All bills accumulated at the lobby bar must be paid in cash. The bar does not accept credit cards.

If you only have one night to know more about the Amazon Rainforest, you don’t need to worry! On the way to the lodge, we’ll take you to a boat ride to see the Meeting of the Waters! You can also enjoy a Jungle Hike, Alligator Spotting and seize a beautiful, fulfilling Sunrise Excursion. On the way back to Manaus you’ll visit the Pirarucu Floating Dock. And, of course, you’ll be served dinner and breakfast.

If you have a little more time, it will be better for you to really experience all the activities with much more calmness and tranquility! You may watch our lecture about the Amazonian environment, go canoeing and take a boat ride to fish piranhas. If you do fish them, be certain we’ll prepare them for your dinner!

Beyond the rides we have already mentioned, now you’ll experience a deeper immersion to our culture by enjoying a picnic in the middle of the jungle in the presence of our guides who are eager to share their knowledge and stories with the guests. Then, we’ll visit local inhabitants, their homes and receive lots of infomation on how their lives, in the middle of the jungle, really are.

Spending 4 nights with us will take you to two amazing journeys! Visiting a sumauma tree, known as the Amazon’s largest tree species in both height and diameter and hiking in the forest at night, a completely different experience than visiting the forest at daytime! You’ll still have the chance to take a tour around the lodge to see and learn more about its sustainable construction.

If you spend 5 nights in the Amazon Rainforest, you won’t want to go home! With this amount of time in your hands you’ll enjoy much more adrenaline and adventure. We offer tree climbing and a overnight in the jungle. Less adventurous, but pretty emotional, you’ll have the opportunity to plant a tree.

Now that you know a little bit more about our packages and tours, contact us! We certainly can offer you the best package according to your schedule and style.
